I used Migration Assistant to transfer all my files and applications to a new MacBookPro but Autocad LT 2013 (beta SP2) will not run.
So I uninstalled it and reinstalled but still the same - it starts up then displays a "A software problem has caused Autocad LT to close unexpectedly" window.
I would appreciate any suggestions anyone may have.
I thought i should probably find the full SP2 rather than the beta but the link appears to be broken. I have tried links in several locations any they all appear to end up here -
but the page is essentially blank.
Is there a link to SP2 that works out there somewhere that I have missed?
Hi,
Yes, you are right - the page is empty.
But at first I'd advice you to clean up license information. As I understand - you are using AutoCAD LT from Autodesk (or reseller), but not from MAS.
In this case license information always get corrupted when you use Migration assistant (or Time Machine backup) to transfer AC for Mac installation to new Mac.
So you need to follow this article:
or "illustrated" guide here:
http://upandready.typepad.com/up_and_ready/2013/02/reset-standalone-licensing-on-the-mac.html
in order to reset existing license information on your new Mac, then you need to activate AutoCAD LT again with your serial.
After new activation you should be able to start AutoCAD LT and install SP2 via "Check for updates" function inside AutoCAD itself.

We fixed the issue that caused the download page to be blank: http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-lt-for-mac/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-lt...
