Transferring Jpeg of floor plan into AutoCad

I have a jpeg image of a floor plan with the dimensions on it and I need to have it drawn to scale in autocad so I can add a design. I am clueless as to how to do it, is there a way I can put the jpeg in to scale and trace around it?

Hi,

Of course, it is possible.

You need to use IMAGEATTACH command,

then SCALE with Reference option,

than trace attached image:
