Reinstalling, or trying to, 2013 LT for Mac

I had to have a new hard drive, and now I'm trying to reinstall 2013 LT for Mac, but am having all kinds of trouble. I was directed to install 2014 LT for Mac. I tried and it said I had another program running, and to uninstall it. I tried to uninstall, but it said I had another program running. I tried to uninstall 2013 LT and I couldn't because it said I had another program running. I seem to be in a loop. Don

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!
Hi Don,
At first you need to be sure that none of AutoCADs running on your System. You can check this in the Dock (be sure that there is no white dot under AutoCAD's icon) or via Force Quit from Apple menu.
Then try to restart your Mac and then proceed with removing AutoCAD.
BTW: which OS do you have on your Mac?

I'm running version 10.9.2. Yes, there is a white spot under the icon.

Right click on the icon and select Quit from context menu

In your case I think there would be rather "Force Quit" instead of Quit.

I did get AutoCAD LT 2013 downloaded, but now trying to activate. I have entered the product key that I was directed to use - 057E1. Now it says that my Serial Number that was supplied with the original program installation is not correct. I double checked the Serial Number and Product Key with numbers the email that came with the original program supplied. Now what?

Hi,
Product key for AutoCAD LT 2013 for Mac is
827E1
And the key you provided in your post is for AC LT 2013 for PC.

I am having problems with the request code not being the right one, and then my serial number is not recognized as the correct one.

Yes, I've been trying to reinstall my 2013 AutoCAD LT for Mac since last Sunday. I have it reinstalled, but am having trouble with the Activation Code. I used the Activation Code from the reinstallation, but they say my Serial Number is incorrect. It is the same Serial Number that came with the original program.

I tried again entering the activation code from the activation page. It says the activation code is invalid (Error 3). I've been getting this runaround for 7 days. Can't I get some straight answers or a live person. This is really frustrating!!!! Don

Hi Don, apologies for the frustration. Please visit this direct link to customer service and instead of the filling out the form please open the Chat window that will appear. If it doesn't, please continue to hit refresh until it does. This will connect you with a live agent. Again, I apologize for your inconvenience.

Hi Jessica. All is resolved. I got hold of a live person, and it was resolved within 15 minutes. I was being given 2 different Product Keys for 2013 AutoCAD Lt for a PC, not a Mac. Thanks, Don
