Project Manager and adding views to sheets from xrefs

Hello,

I work in a mixed OS environment and have been using AutoCAD since R11. I have been using the Mac version on and off for the last year but would like to use it most of the time. The documentation for the Mac version is horrible and is making the trasition very difficult. For instance in AutoCAD using Sheet Sets it is very easy to add a view from an xref onto a sheet. How is this accomplished in Project Manager on the Mac? I tried the user manual, online forums, google search, etc… I have to admit I am stumped.

Thanks,

Art

Hi Art,

Project Manager in AutoCAD for Mac differs from Sheet Set Manager in AutoCAD for Windows version. Project Manager in AutoCAD for Mac lacks some features from SSM.

Yes, DST files, regardless of where they were created, can be used on either Mac or Windows systems, but on Mac Named model space views cannot be placed on a layout with the Project Manager (if you mean this feature in your question). You also can not create sheet list tables for multiple subsets and sheets in Mac version.

Thank you I thought I was losing my mind. Maybe a future feature then?
