precision issue

Hello.

I have a problem of precision and i am very disapointed.

When i draw 2 circles and want to draw a line between both of the circles intersections, the bottoms of the line does intersect with nothing...

You can see the example in the attachments; when i zoom at the maximum and regenerate the view, my polyline is floatting! And of course i switched on the objects snaps .

Is there a command line to enter or another thing i forgot to configure? Please tell me its not a limitation of autocad! Thx Smiley Wink

The "A" pdf shows the two circles and the red line between them.

The "B" one shows the line floating.

And the "capture d'ecran" shows my snaps presets.

Hi,

Could you post your drawing here?

Maxim

It is only a matter of AutoCAD drawing window precision: in fact (mathematically) the line ends are exactly at the points where circles intersects, with the precision up to 16 digits after the decimal point.

Look at the group of objects in red color I addad to the drawing. The results are better. I just breaked circles to arcs.

Excellent Maxim, indeed it's better with the arcs.
Thanks you very much
