Hi,
I have access to the public beta programme, so I can get the OS early, but also just wondering for the autumn/fall when it's released
Thanks,
Joe

I also subscribed to public Beta, but still not invited...
As about AutoCAD - we can only assume, based on the experience of last year, that most recent existing AutoCAD release (2014) will work on Yosemite with new SP installed, and, of course the next release of AutoCAD for Mac (if any) will work OOTB.

Hi,

Thanks, when/if you do get the beta software, would it be alright if you reposted here with the stability of the application?

Thanks again,

Joe

Dear AutoCAD users,

The test with AutoCAD on Yosemite is under progress, so far no blocking issues. If you are also trying that, and find any issues, you can contact us by email to FeedbackACADMac <feedbackacadmac@autodesk.com>.

@daz9096, if you upgraded to Yosemite on the current drive, AutoCAD license files may be damaged. If you installed the Yosemite on a clean drive and then installed AutoCAD on it, and found AutoCAD does not open, please let us know.

Thanks,
Wei

Hi do you think if I uninstalled autocad and reinstall it should work better?

@daz9096
I think simple reinstallation should not work, as Wei wrote - you need to repair damaged activation: you need to delete (backup) existing license files and activate AutoCAD once again.

Hello,,
I am new to this forum. I would like to know whether AUTOCAD 2013 for mac will be supported on OS X YOSEMITE or not?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
According to the last year experience only two latest versions of AutoCAD supported in new OS. So if AC 2015 will be ready before or at the same time as Yosemite, than only 2015 and 2014 will be supported in it.

Autocad 2014 apparently works fine with Mac OS X Yosemite instead I got a problem with Maya 2014: after installed the new Os, language magically shifted from english to korean !

Yes, the AC 2014 beta 1 works with Mac 10.10, and it did work with no problem with AC alpha.

And yes, I am an offical tester with Mac systems beta testing group.

And I tested all Mac systems from Tiger to current.

And i tested AutoDesk Mechanical Desktop for Win.

And I tested Win 3.

And I tested DOS 6.1

And I'm a registered user of SolidWorks Pro, AutoCad LT.

But, I miss some of the options of AC windows that are not in AC Mac.

But that's another story..

I would like to know, whether autocad 2013 works with os x yosemite!!!, if anybody has tested it!

Yup, I'm running it now.

As described above you need to delete it and the existing license files and then install OSX Yosemite, and then AutoCad again.

Hope this helps,

Joe

Hi,

I've recently upgraded my 10.10 Public Beta 2 install to 10.10 Public Beta 3 on my MacBook Pro Retina.  I'm noticing now that the track pad gestures to scroll left and right no longer work.  Those gestures instead now zoom in/out.  The pinch gesture still zooms in/out as expected.  I have tested this in other applications, and the normal scroll behavior works as expected so I believe this to be a new issue between AutoCAD LT 2013 and 10.10 PB3.  I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this or not.

Thanks!
