one project, working on Windows then Mac

I would like to know if the project that I am working on at school, on a windows machine, can be finished at home on my Mac? Will I have any file issues? Will I lose any part of my project/file?

Thank you.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
Yes, you can continue to work on school project created on PC at home on Mac. You should not loose anything unless you are using one if AutoCAD verticals at school (AutoCAD Architecture for example).
Here is a link to AutoCAD for PC and got Mac comparison:
http://www.autodesk.com/products/autocad/compare/compare-platforms
There you can find features that will be not available on Mac. But even without these features you will be able to work on files created in plain AutoCAD on PC.
