Hi,
I'm drawing 2D figures using lines in 3D space because I would like to use the realistic coordinates (rather than projections) to maintain accuracy. Only, I've realized that I cannot put text anywhere but on the x-y plane. My idea is to rotate the figure 90 degrees once it is constructed so that it is parallel with the x-y plane and then the text will be in view. When I try to use the 3DROTATE command to rotate the figure, the gizmo does't show up and the program only allows rotation about z. I need rotation about x. Does anyone know why the gizmo isn't showing up? Should I just use the old ROTATE3D command?
Thanks!
Evan

Hi Evan,
in order to see Gizmo, you have to change view direction from orthogonal to something different, then AutoCAD will switch temporary to 3D visual style and you will see Rotate Gizmo:

May i know how can i change it?
If you asking about how to change view direction - you can use for example 3DORBIT command, or use ViewCube to rotate view,
