Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
Could you post screenshot of how it looks like after loading AutoCAD?

Hi,

You need either to remove your login name from menu bar:
simply Command-click and drag one of the menubar icons off the menubar, towards the middle of the screen.
Or try to rearrange the items on the menu bar - move your login name to the left in order to let date and time be visible when AutoCAD is active:
to move the icons (and login name) around, simply hold the Command button down on your keyboard, and then drag and drop the icons into the order that most pleases you. You won’t be able to move the Notification Center or Spotlight icons, or third-party icons, but the rest of them–like the Bluetooth or the Wi-Fi icons–can be rearranged with ease.

And, you can also switch to small icon instead of your user name:
Go to System preferences, open Users & Groups pane, click on Login options on the bottom left, financial on pad lock to enter your password to make changes, then on the right select "Icon" from drop down list "Sow fast user switching menu as"
