Macbook Pro Slowness - AutoCAD/LT

Hi, i have a macbook pro 13inch retina display.

I literraly is the newsest latest pro out but after installing AutoCad for students or LT it becomes painfully slow 

every time i draw a line or change the smallest thing the spinning colour wheel pops up and/or my cad freezes.

I dont know what i am doing wrong as this is my first macbook, i had been using a PC before.

please help, any suggestions welcomed

Hi Catt,

I think the case is in the drawing you are working on.

What if you create new empty drawing, than try to draw something in it - just a line for example. Do you have the same issue?
