Lost windows in LT

I am using AutoCAD LT for Mac on a MacBook Pro.  I often plug into a 27" Imac to use its screen (the Imac screen is set up as the primary screen).  Yesterday, in single screen mode, I went to change a layer color and was unable to find the color selection window.  Later I tried to print and was unable to locate the "edit page setup" window.  I plugged back into the Imac but these windows appear to be gone for good.  Anyone have a suggestion.  Am I to the point of reinstallation?

Hi,

You need to reset dialog boxes position - try to delete preferences file:

Thanks for the response, I will give that a shot.  Is it necessary to recreate the file after it is deleted, or does the software do this?

Don't worry, AutoCAD will recreate it.

Thank you for the help.  Last time this happened to me a few months ago, I had to reformat my computer for it to start working.

Hi md,

Try Window -> Zoom from AutoCAD's menu

I'm having the same problem as Michael. If I restart, sometimes it solves itself. Also: the Stretch command no longer works with the "S" shortcut. For some reason that now causes Save, not Stretch. Seems to have happened since the last update. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Max's suggestion for resolution worked for me

click on window - then zoom and it comes back

It seems, that this issue is not the result of last update, but rather the result of editing ACADLT.PGP file, check it:

Line with STRETCH command should begin with S, and SAVE - with SA

Thanks M.

As of this morning, I restarted and the S command now does what it always used to do: Stretch.

Very strange...
