Lineweight problem when plotting PDF with Autocad LT

Hello,

I am working on a Mac 10.9 and the trial Autocad LT.

I am doing my plans with layers, lineweights, colours, and line types.

I have set the plot option as "use object lineweight"

There seems to be not option to print as pdf.pc3

I have selected "scale lineweight" in the print option.

My lines are still very thick when I plot to PDF.

I am not sure what else I am doing wrong....

Thanks for your help.

Claudia

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Claudia,

Have you tried not to use the option "scale lineweights", than you should get line width on the paper (or in PDF file) exactly the same width as you set for object (layer).

Hi Maxim,

I tried this and the lines are still very thick.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Claudia

Double check object's lineweights via Properties Palette. They can be set by object or by layer, if BULAYER - then check Layers lineweight.

If you are printing from Layout - than check viewport overrides for lineweight property.

Thanks,

Lineweight is by layer, and I checked my layers lineweight which is at the smallest 0.05 mm.....

I am printing from "window"....

Anything else I could be doing wrong?

Which scale are you using for printing?
Could you post your drawing here along with plot style table file?
