Layer manager very slow

Does anyone else find that it takes a very long time to change settings in the layer manager?  In particular:

- Freezing or unfreezing layers (including freezing/unfreezing layers within viewport)

- Changing layer colour

It doesn't seem to matter whether I have a lot of objects on the layer or not.

Hi,
Please specify your AutoCAD version and OS you have on your Mac.
Do you mean slow response of Layers drop down list in Layers palette?
Have you tried to create new empty drawing and a couple of empty layers in it, then reproduce the issue?
Could you post here one of your simple drawings with this issue?
