Layer manager in autocad 2011 for mac

I have gone from AutoCAD 2007 for PC where I used the command 'LMAN' or layer manager a whole lot.  This was invaluable when drawing a number of plans on one drawing eg existing/demolition plan, proposed plan, lighting plan, and roof plan.  I would simply turn the layers on and off and save this layer setting in 'LMAN'.  Then I could switch between each drawing view with one click in LMAN.

Is there a similar command for 2011?

Thanking you in advance.

Hi,

Some time ago I wrote LISP routine for AutoCAD for Mac (http://macacad.wordpress.com/2011/04/11/layer-states-manager-for-autocad-for-mac-visual-friendly-cli... but unfortunately in AC LT there is no support for AutoLISP, so only one option is to use "stAte" option of "-LAYER" command in LT. With this option you can manage layer states in drawing file: save layer states, restore it, export to .LAS file and import from .LAS and .DWG files.

Maxim -

I would be interested in looking your LISP routine for layer state management, but the link you gave appears to be broken. Could you give working link?

thanks very much
