Importing images to autocad 2013

I am relatively new to mac and autocad.  I am trying to import a screenshot into autocad for a project, but i can not save that screenshot as anything compatible with autocad itself, such as a dwg or dxf file.  Any suggestions?

Hi,

try command _IMAGE, then you should get asked to show an image that can then be referenced.

BTW: the forum for AutoCAD on Mac is >>>here<<<, I don't have a Mac (because I drive AutoCAD 😉 ), so I'm not sure if the above tip works.

Good luck, - alfred -

In AC for Mac IMAGE command opens Reference Manager palette, from which you can attach raster images (your screen-shots) to the drawing.
