Hi,

(setenv "DefaultFormatForSave" "48") - will save as 2010 format DWG

(setenv "DefaultFormatForSave" "60") - will save as 2013 format DWG

Note that environment variable is case sensitive.

HTH

Maxim

Where is this code input? is it a regedit? is there a CAD file or start script?

I have found this indormation on a few different threads but no information on how to implement.

(I am IT and not a user of the application and I need to set this for all users.)

Thanks

Hi Vincent,

This AutoLISP statement you have to type at the command prompt (Command line palette) inside AutoCAD. You have to execute this string only once in each AutoCAD installation, than setting for default format for save will remain until you change it.
Start AutoCAD, at the command prompt type necessary string, hit Return to execute statement - default format for save will be changed and saved in AutoCAD preferences.
