How to convert text into polylines for laser cutting

I had the version of Autocad for mac 2013, a tool for converting the text into a polyline so I can use it for laser cutting without using an external program or without drawing all individual letters?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
Unfortunately you can not "explode" text in Mac version of AutoCAD as you can do in PC version, so there is no direct way to outline text objects in AC for Mac.
You can use for example Inkscape application to create outlines from text, than export from Inkscape to DXF and open resulting DXF file in AutoCAD to bring outlines to your drawing.
