Hi,

Have you tried to put bigfont SHX files to:

/Applications/Autodesk/AutoCAD 2014/AutoCAD 2014.app/Contents/Resources/Fonts/shx

In Finder select Go menu, then "Go to Folder" and paste above location to "Go to the Folder" text field, pick OK and you will be right in place where you have to put SHX files.

Interesting question.

And what I noticed:
If you put SXH font to some folder in Support Files search path, then you will be able to see them in the drawing file (and even edit without loosing Font formatting) but at the same time you will not be able to see this SHX file in Font list in newly created files and you will see exclamation mark in front of SHX file name in drawing files with text style with this SHX. I tried this scenario with ordinary SHX files (not Big Font SHX).

If you put SHX font inside AutoCAD application (/Applications/Autodesk/AutoCAD 2014/AutoCAD 2014.app/Contents/Resources/Fonts/shx folder) , than everything works fine, as it should.
I think it is a kind of bug in Mac version of AutoCAD.

Maxim

May be the user specify folder is not a folder belongs "trusted locations".

when i try to load a lisp file using command "appload" , a  security message dialog popup.

i think acad2014mac has the  security feature as acad2014win , but user runing command "options" in acad2014mac , it have not a "trusted locations" item sach as acad2014win.

No, this issue is not related to security - 100%, because security feature only AutoLISP routines and ARX applications.
BTW - you can disable sequrity by setting SECURELOAD=0

Awsome - thanks for the link re: where to place .SHX fonts on Mac. I added "LT" in each instance of AutoCAD 14 to make this work on AutoCADLT for mac. Cheers!
