How do get rid of these blue squares?

Please, can anyone help with this?
I just upgraded from AutoCad LT 2008 to 2014.
How do I turn off or get rid of these blue boxes?
I started a drawing and everything was like 2008, but now these boxes are appearing on all new lines.
If I quite and then reopen they are gone - but once I start adding lines they start to appear again.
I just want to draw basic lines, I also don't know what the (+ Top2D Wireframe) means or why is it at the top left corner?
Any help would be fantastic.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
It is geometric constraints marks. It appears you accidentally turned on Infer Constraints mode, you need to turn it off from Stetus Bar at first. You can also set System variable CONSTRAINTINFER=0 to accomplish this.
Now you can delete existing constraints with menu Parametric -> Delete Constraints: you will be prompted to select objects - just type at the command prompt ALL and hit Enter. Existing constraints will be deleted.

About "+ Top2D Wireframe" at the top left of the drawing area. It is Viewport Label Menus:
Viewport label menus are located at the top-left corner of each viewport, and provide a convenient way of changing views and visual styles.
By default, text is displayed that shows the current viewport settings. For example, the text might be

[+][Top][2D Wireframe]

You can click within each of the three bracketed areas.

■ Click + to display more options

■ Click Top to choose between several standard and custom views

■ Click 2D Wireframe to choose one of several visual styles. Most of the other visual styles are used for 3D visualization

Hi @mjhabig ,

In AutoCAD LT, parametric drawing technology is limited to the following areas:
- Displaying and hiding constraints
- Editing and manipulating constrained geometry
- Changing values in the Parameters Manager

That is why CONSTRAINTINFER command is not available in AutoCAD LT.

If geometric constraints were created in full version of AutoCAD, you can still view them in LT version.

If you are sure that "blue squares" are geometric constraints you can delete them with DELCONSTRAINT command.
