Hatch tool seems buggy

I am having problems with the HATCH command.

When I click inside a closed area, instead of hatching inside it spreads to everywhere on the drawing except of course where I want it. Sometimes it does fill the area I want, but also elsewhere. The problem is not open spaces between lines, obviously I have checked that.

A solution to one section was simply to move a shape that was touching a line and voila! it works. On the other hand, in other places the same is not the case so I don't know what to do. I tried the last version of AutoCAD for Mac and this worked perfectly then.

So what is going on?

somtimes the best way is to give the hatch a close object so it will be easier to recognized you can also use the grips and dont forget to check that all the objects are on the same drawing plane anothe tirck will it be to use draw order and send to back I hope it helps you out good luck!!!
