Hi, I am currently taking a beginners class for autocad interior design, using my mac when the class is taught using windows. I have researched and researched and researched on how to get furniture for my drawing, and the closest I got to finding any information was realizing that what windows calls "design center" is "content palette" for mac. However, when I go to content palette there is no furniture to choose from. So, I'm wondering do I have to download pictures from the internet or what? and if so how do i do it?? any help would be great thanks!!
Hi, I have some answers for you. (I teach AutoCAD for Interior Designers at a college.) To find two-dimensional furniture blocks online, I direct my students to Archblocks.com His blocks are really great, and inexpensive! You will be able to rapidly build a usable library with theses blocks. They work great for a Mac or PC. For loading them in the Content Browser, you are welcome to watch the video I made for my students: http://www.screencast.com/t/Wa5C4mLs
Hope that helps!
