Exporting to obj or fbx

Hi,
I'm using autocad for mac for my drafting and sometimes for 3d
I also work on blender (where I mostly do 3d)
Thing is blender cannot open dwg or dxf but it can open stl, obj, fbx, dae and a few more
How can I bridge between these two?
I tried fbx converter and got empty files every time...

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Have you tried STLOUT command in AC for Mac.

It creates STL files from solids or watertight meshes (even if they are inside blocks and in Xrefs) in your drawing.

It works for 3D objects which is great! It's a good beginnings!!
But how can I get 2D drafting out of autocad to another format?
Thank you!

the dxf plugin is old and not stable it's not something you can use on daily work

I tried importing in every possible plugin but non of them is stable or working properly(the best result i got was importing an arc) this is why i'm searching for better export options...

Don't know really which 2D format Blender can import, but look at Rhino for Mac:

http://www.rhino3d.com/mac

it has a lot of file formats to export:
