Double click on text

When I double click on a piece of text it brings up the _ddedit command, but as this is now discontinued in 2015 it displays the message 'unknown command'.

Is there a way I can modify this to change the command that is actioned when double clicking on text to textedit?

Hi John,

I cannot reproduce this issue.

Please open CUI editor and check macros assigned to "Text, edit..." and "Mtext, edit..." commands, they should be:

2015-01-09 08-35-03 Customize.png

2015-01-09 08-31-44 Customize.png

Check also have you by chance edited (substituted) DoubleClickRoot.cui file, which is inside AutoCAD application.

Maxim

Hi Maxim,

My cui had the text, Edit.. command linked to ddedit, so I have changed this, and after a reboot it seems to now work fine again.

I did a search for the doubleclickroot.cui and although this has not been changed by myself I did note that there are still a number of references to ddedit still remaining in it.

Kind regards,

John
