Hello,
I am a student and I'm just learning to use Autocad. Our prof. uses windows to teach and recently showed us the design center and where we can find sample blocks in the home space planner and house designer.
I can't seem to find to find these sample blocks on my mac. It would be really useful to have them. Any suggestions as to how I can find this or if it even exists?
Thanks in Advance
Negin
Hi,
In place of DesignCenter and Tool Palettes, AutoCAD for Mac offers the Content Palette, which provides
access to blocks in the current drawing as well as in favorite locations and other libraries.
To find the Content Palette, go to the Tools/palettes/content--or type Content into the spotlight search tool under the help pull down menu.
To insert a block or hatch from the Content palette, simply
double-click on the item or drag-and-drop it into the drawing.
When dragging-and-dropping, two previews are shown: a
small one next to the cursor, and another showing the actual
size of the object.
You will need to create blocks if you don't have any, or get them from other drawings.
Hope this helps.
Thanks first, but I'd like to konw where the sample blocks can be download? I haven't found it in this website yet.
