Content? Where art thou?

My content window has gone AWOL.

As of a bout a month ago, when select Content from the Window menu I get the good ol' "'_content Unknown command "CONTENT".  Press F1 for help."

Any ideas on how I fix this?

Interestingly I have just been inserting blocks via the Insert command for the last month or so & not really missed it, until now when I want to insert blocks froma library drawing. Anyway................

Hi,

Have you tried Command+2?

Or maybe better to try to reinstall AutoCAD?

Yep, 'fraid so.

I'm trying to avoid a re-install due to licence annoyances and general hassles.

I think you should have no problems with the license when reinstalling AutoCAD, because reinstallation doesn't touch licensing information.

In theory, yes. But experience had shown that FlexLM is a rather fickle beast. The easiest thing is to export the licence, do the necessary fiddling, then import it again.

Could you look inside AutoCAD 2013.app (or which version do you have?) and try to find AcContent.bundle file? Is it in place - it should be in the "root" of application folder.

Ahhh.....I see.

Yes its there.

I had a bit of a dig about in the MPKG but can't see the bundles as per the acyual installation. I guess they are compressed in tthe installation files.

Any ideas on how I could go about repairing that particular bundle? Or, I guess it could be autocad cant find it?

Have you tried "Reset Application Options..." at Application tab of AutoCAD preferences?

BTW, you can "dig" into MPKG with Pacifist.app
