CAn I turn off auto highlight/select

Hi,

I've only been using Autocad mac for a couple of days and have to say it's not been a great experience.

Can I turn off the auto select highlighting, where i pass my cursor over an element and it highlights in bold?

When I do this, even with the smallest of blocks, autocad hangs for a couple of minutes. 

I have to say I've never used software that crashes this much. I feel like i'm beta testing for Autodesk.

Use SELECTIONPREVIEW system variable to turn the highlight
