autocad mac spline slow construction

Hello community, i've got a big problem with the spline function in auto cad for mac (2013 LT version). Drawing a spline is really tricky because i can't see the resulting spline. the spline very slowly builds up when defining the control points. do somebody know this problem and knows how to fix it. thank you very much

That's why I don't like splines at all and don't use them. I use polylines instead.

ok i understand,

but there have to be a solution. because i saw on youtube tutorials where they use splines but don’t have this issue. maybe somebody got a solution. i work with an macbook pro retina so the hardware can’t be the problem

How long are your splines?
Do you have troubles even with 3 control points splines?
You can not see spline during it's creation? And after that?

the splines are not log. i can’t see them during creation. i can only see the control points and after finishing the spline by placing the control points the spline appears.
also when i move the control points from the created spline i can’t see the amendment during moving the points.

Which Visual style you have in your drawing?

i use auto cad 2013 LT. there are no visual styles supported.

so default ist wireframe

Does this happens in all files?
Do you have standard drawing background?

yes it happens in all files also in new one.

i have standard background (nothing changed)

Hi Dieter,
Please check system variable DRAGP1, if it is 0 or less than 1000, try to set it to default value 5000:

Command: DRAGP1
Enter new value for DRAGP1 <0>: 5000
Command: *Cancel*
