autocad mac 2014 freezes

Hello! I use autocad mac 2014 on macbook pro retina 15 with 8 GB of RAM. Mavericks 10.9.1.
Constantly confronted with the problem :
Open 2-4 files , work with them , everything is OK . But when I open the next file, autocad freezing. Files are not so big to take all the RAM . Autocad don't give  error , he pretends that tries to open a file , and this process becomes infinite.
I suspect it is incorrect work of mavericks, the system tries not to give a lot of RAM program and trying to swap RAM . Do you know solution to this problem ? Is it possible to give privileges program on the use of RAM ? The same files on autocad 2014 with Windows opened without problem

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
I can open on Mac mini with 8Gb RAM (run AutoCAD under Mavericks) - ten and even more DWG files without any troubles - memory drops about 1 Gb, so memory is not the case of the issue.
How long are you using your MacBook without restarting it?
Have you tried to restart your Mac?

If the files are not too big, could you post here one of them which shows the issue in the best way?
You can also send it to my e-mail:
