Autocad lt 2013 will not start after crashing

I'm using Autocad Lt 2013 and installed the latest mavericks update (10.9.2) this morning and worked in autocad fine until my computer crashed hours later.  After forcing autocad to quit after the program locked up, I restarted my computer and now Autocad will not start.  I searched this forum for a solution and saw a post about the same problem but that post referenced deleting a flexnet file folder which I do not have.  I have since reinstalled Autocad but still have the same problem.  Everytime I start the program, it immediately creates an error report and will not start.  Please help!!!!!!

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
Are you using AutoCAD from MAS?

Do you have all updates for AutoCAD (Service Packs) installed?
Have you tried to re-install AutoCAD? If you haven't - try to reinstall it - during removing don't forget to uncheck "leave AutoCAD preferences".

MAS means Mac App Store.

Thanks Maxim.

Yes, I had all the service packs installed prior to the crash.  I have also reinstalled it and unchecked the box "leave AutoCAD preferences" and get the same result.  It starts loading and then automatically creates a report error page.

Could you provide System.log information (from Console.app) during AutoCAD launch?

Anyway, seems that the problem is in License Manager.
Where do you look for FLEXnet Publisher folder?
it should be inside Preferences folder in Library folder which is in the root of your Mac HD.

I searched for it in finder first on my entire hard drive and came up empty.  It is not located in the Preferences folder in the Library folder either.  ?????

Without this folder ant it's contents AutoCAD can not run.
You can try this:
Remove AutoCAD with Remove AutoCAD LT application, create new user account with admin privileges on your Mac, login with this new account and instal, than launch AutoCAD.

cgrove,

My problem was a license manager issue.  It occured again about a month ago and I had to uninstall AutoCad and reinstall it and then reinstall all the updates again.  After that it worked fine.

The following link helped me:  http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles...

I hope this helps!
