Autocad custom "pivot point" and "zoom extents"

I'm using Autocad 2013 for Mac since 2 days, trying to sketch solar mounting system. When I click on "view cube" to change the surface in 3d mode sometimes it zooms out and shows me entire drawing or shows me wrong angle. It's really annoying! I thing I have to change "pivot point" and "drawing area" ("zoom extents" area) regarding to current block. So how can I do this?

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Have you tried to use 3DORBIT command instead of ViewCube? By default it uses "Orbit Auto Target" which keeps the target point on the objects you are viewing rather than on the center of the viewport.

Thank you for your reply! Is there any way to change "pivot point" and "drawing area"? Because "Viewcube" tool is very useful.
