I used to have AutoCAD 2014 when I updated to the latest operating system (OS X Yosemite). However, it kept on crashing, and it was then when I found out that AutoCAD wasn't compatible with Yosemite yet. As a result, I decided to update to AutoCAD 2015 since it was compatible, but it seem to change anything since it keep on crashing. Is anyone experiencing the same issues?

Hi user,
Here maybe the workaround for AutoCAD for Mac 2015 & AutoCAD LT for Mac 2015 frequently crash with Intel HD 3000 graphics card on Yosemite.
Preferences -> General Tab-> Check 'Activate OpenGL Core Profile' checkbox->Restart AutoCAD
*Note1: This workaround need to be re-opertaed after you reset the application.
*Note2: This workaround is only available for AutoCAD for Mac 2015 product and AutoCAD LT for Mac 2015 product.
Anyone who tried this workaround, please send your feedback if it is worked or not.
If you still meet crash, please send the crash error report.

Hi aorlandho,
Thanks for the crash report ID. It shows that your graphcis card is the Intel HD Graphics 3000. Could you please try the workaround above from Leaf?
Thanks,
Wei
As soon as I open AutoCad LT from Mac on Yosemite it just shuts down. Doesn't matter if I do it through opening a file or just the program. I opens but as soon as I move the mouse een a single pixel it shuts down. Can't even get into the preferences.

Hi Jaanus,
I think what issue you meet is the below one:
Can you confirm?
Not sure if I'm playing with fire here, but upgraded to OS Yosemite 10.10.1 mainly so I could continue to work on site reports generated in Pages here in the office with others. Running AutoCAD LT 2013 and so far, only ran into one problem which I posted. Program seemed to stall either due to a raster image not found (according to Maxim) or in my opinion something to do with blocks (used edit xref in place from file it was referenced to/eliminated block and was able to insert it afterward). I'm just concerned about unforeseen data loss, does anyone know what the worst data loss potential is, wouldn't a .dwg file at least be recoverable. What is the big conflict with Yosemite upgrade anyway?
Hi all,
It seems the issue has been resolved for AutoCAD 2015 in "AutoCAD® 2015 and AutoCAD LT® 2015 for Mac® Update 2":
http://download.autodesk.com/SWDLDDLM/Updates/ACDMAC/U2/ACAD_ACAD_LT_2015_Mac_Upd2_Readme_ENU.htm
Use Notification center alert which should pop-up when you start AutoCAD to download and install the Update 2.
Or here is direct download link for English version of AutoCAD 2015:

and for English version of AutoCAD LT 2015:
