Hi there.
I've had Autocad 2014 for mac installed in my computer for a couple of months and eveything was working fine.
But suddenly, for the past 3 days, it's been giving me problems to open up. You hear the fan in the computer running really hard and no matter what file I try to open or even the program itself it won't open at all.
I've tried unistalling and re-instaling already twice but every morning when I try to open up the program, same thing happens, it won't open. Even if I leave it open during the night.
I'm trying eveything and nothing seems to work.
Help please, I've got all my files in there and my final drawings for school!
Thank you
Patty Leo
Hi there,
Not sure what SP1 or 2 means.
My autocad 2014 student version for mac is still giving me problems. It won't open/launch at all and it makes the fan in my computer go off heavily.
I know the files are there but it's the program that won't open.
Regardless I tried launging it holding the shift key and nothing.
I've also unistalled and re-installed many times. I've seen to be doing it almost everyday so I can continue working on my drawings but I'm sure there's gotta be a better way.
Help please!!!
Thanks!
P
HI Leo,
Here are the links to AutoCAD for Mac SPs (Service Packs):
SP1:
and SP2:
Install them according to the instructions you will find on linked pages and try to reset AutoCAD.

Hi Maxim,
I unistalled Autocad 2014 for mac student version and re-installed, followed by installing both service packs 1 & 2.
Again, it's not opening and I get a notfocation saying Autocad can't open 1712.
I can see the recent files on the recent drag menu but I'm not able to open them as I click.
Is there anything else I should do?
I've been using Autocad for many years and I've never had as many problems as with a Mac.
I know they run much better on Microsoft but out school requires we use Mac.
Thanks!
Patty Leo
Hi Maxim!!!
Thank you so much for your help! I downladed both service packages and everything seems to be riding smoothly so far.
Thank you again! you've been a life saver
