autocad 2014 for mac: does not startup since update to OSX 10.9.1

Since i upgraded to OSX 10.9.1 my autocad 2014 for Mac  ( student version ) does not startup anymore. SP1 for mac does not solve the problem. Reinstallation does not solve the problem.
Any suggestions?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
I saw your post at Futures Forum.
Did you try reinstallation after you applied Beta version of SP1?
Did you leave your preferences during removing AutoCAD ? - there is check-mark for this on second uninstallation window. If you leave them, try to uninstall again with removing preferences.
Other questions:
Do you have Welcome Screen enabled at startup?
Could you describe: what happens when you try to launch AutoCAD?
Could you provide Console log information during AutoCAD's startup?

Maxim

Maxim,

You gave me the solution!

it works! if you remove the preferences when you uninstall and reinstall again, it works!

Thank you!!

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Even without SP1 (which is still in Beta) you can try to solve the problem by deleting (trashing) AutoCAD preferences file.

Look for it in:

~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/local/AutoCAD 2014/R19.1/enu/

The name of the file is HKCU.plist

Quit AutoCAD (you can even restart your Mac), then navigate to the folder I mentioned above (Library folder inside your Home folder) and trash HKCU.plist file. Then try to launch AutoCAD.

Let me know about results.

Maxim
