Autocad 2013 for Mac will not launch

Hello,

Tried to launch the program and have the AutoCAD Error Report box come up saying, A software problem has caused AutoCAD to close unexpectedly.

Error report contains

crashLog.txt

dmpuserinfo.xml

dumpdata.zip

system_profile.xml

Was working fine after loding both SP1 andn SP2. The last file used did have a jpg. that was converted to a pdf for an underlay.

Any help would be wonderful.

Hi daccordo,

I think you have to try to reinstall AutoCAD (with deleting AC preferences when you will run Remove AutoCAD application).
Or you can simply try to delete AutoCAD preferences file from ~/Library/Preferences folder,

Does it crashes in all cases? When you are trying to launch it from Dock, when you double-click on DWG file in Finder (or use "Open with")?

What do you see in System.log in Console app when you are trying to launch
AutoCAD?

It appears that something wrong with AutoCAD lisence on your Mac. Try to reset it:
So you need to follow this article:
http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles...
or "illustrated" guide here:
http://upandready.typepad.com/up_and_ready/2013/02/reset-standalone-licensing-on-the-mac.html

in order to reset existing license information on your Mac, then you need to activate AutoCAD again with your serial.

I?ll try using the ?illustrated? guide and let you know how it turns out.
I did reinstall after the hard drive was replaced and also updated with SP1 and SP2 as you mentioned a few months ago. All worked well until now.
