Autocad 2011 3d modeling crashes on Macbook Pro

 

-->the program just closes

 

student copy

 

processor is Intel Core i5 -- 2.5 Ghz

 

graphics: Intel HD graphics 4000 (1024 Mb) 

 

Is the dual-core necessary for 3d modelling?

Hi,

What OS do you have on your Mac?
AC 2011 is compatible with Mac OS 10.5.8 to 10.7.x

AutoCAD 2011 will not run properly on Mavericks, you nee AC 2013 with SP2 or AC 2014 version.
