After AC 2014 LT MAC crash I can no longer highlight lines, objects, etc then press keys, such as RO for rotate, M for move, Command G for group, the Delete key to delete.

Now I must first press the C key for copy, the highlight the hit the return key, then hit Control V to paste. This is reverse of the methods prior to the crash.

If I want to Rotate, 1st press RO, then highlight, the return, the grab and rotate.

If I want to Move, 1st press MO, the highlight, then ....... where prior I would highlight, Press M & move with cursor.

Prior to crash I was in the process of using Match Pooperties, AC crashed.

I have not installed any new programs, updates or hardware to this system.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

You need to set PICKFIRST system variable to 1. At the command prompt type PICKFIRST, then hit Return, than 1, than hit Return again.

PICKFIRST

Controls whether you select objects before (noun-verb selection) or after you issue a command.

Integer Type: Registry Saved in: 1 Initial value:

Turns off PICKFIRST; you select objects after you issue a command 0

Turns on PICKFIRST; you select objects before you issue a command 1
