ACAD2012 Display issues

I have Autocad 2012 SP1 running on a MacBook Pro (OS 10.7.2 / 2.5G i7 / HD6770M 1GB graphics).

I am experiencing serious display issues with realtime zooming/panning, in that layers keep disappearing and will only re-display if I REGEN the screen (REDRAW does not help).

The drawings I am working are 2D and I am using a standard display mode. 

Any ideas?

Yes, I am using the Magic Mouse....  And I had not noticed, but now you mention it I have tested and the issue does not occur with the touch pad.

Is there a fix for this, or do I just have to avoid the magic mouse?

Yes, this is known issue with Magic Mouse, and no workaround unfortunately.
