Hi,
I decided to use AutoCAD for Mac and installed student's version (since I work in college).
There were no problems while installation and registration but it hags up forever while starts. Screenshot is attached.
The only way to stop the application is to cancel via 'task manager'.
I've tried several times and than decided to check previous versions, 2011 and 2013. Absolutely the same behaviour!!!
I'm using Macbook Pro 13" Retina with i5/8GB/256G. It looks enough for this monsteur. Mac OS 10.9.4.
What's wrong and how to solve it?
Welcome to Autodesk Forums!
Hi,
Are you sure that activation was successful?
Have you tried:
- restart your Mac?
- reset AutoCAD preferences as described >> here << (applies only to 2014 version)
Maxim
How to check that activation was OK? It seems to be yes, but who knows.
Yes I've restarted Mac since ACAD actively used memory and it was not enough 8GB for all programs (even swap file was used).
Tried to do reset procedure which you advice but no new file mentioned as well as any effect.
