Just dowloaded autocad for mac 2015. Now I cannot copy and paste between drawings. I've tried a few things already posted within the community but nothing has worked so far.
Additional question: If you launch AutoCAD, create 2 new drawings, draw line in one of them, than copy line to clipboard, switch to the second drawing and paste - does the line appears in the second drawing?

Thank you for your help! I think I figured out what was going on. The copy and paste function was not working properly only on some blocks I was copying from one drawing to another. When I exploded the blocks, I was able to copy them.
