It was called pljoin and it's part of core acad. Try pedit. I still rather
pljoin (much quicker and seams to do a better job) so I used the one from
2000i express tools in 2004.

Pljoin was and still is much better than pedit. You can copy pljoin from 2000
or 2002 and if you want do the following:

Modify the acetmain menu adding the following line:
[Join Polylines]^c^c^p(if (not pljoin)(load "pljoin"));pljoin

This should be added to the Modify section of the acetmain.mnu in the following
location (of course you may want to save a backup somewhere else BEFORE you make
the changes):

C:\Program Files\R2004\UserDataCache\Support\

Copy the old pljoin.lsp into the Express directory of Autocad.

Recompile the acetmain.mnu and copy ALL of the acetmain.mn? to someplace else
(zip, diskette?). Using My Computer, copy the newly recompiled acetmain.mn? to
the other two locations below.

C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Autodesk\
Autocad 2004\R16.0\enu\Support\

C:\Program Files\R2004\Express\
