Footprint Geometry Enhancement

For the geometry option of inserting footprints, can we add 3D capapability please? height, width and depth

Most content websites like traceparts have footprints available in the 3D DWG format and this provided AE with a visual clash detection, motion and walk and flybys if 3D content is used instead of 2D

Totaly agree that AcadE should have the option to use a 3D-version of a component. That beeing said, it should support multiple versions of a component in panel drawings overall. One should be able to use both a front and side view of a component.

Just to brag... Did a demo for a customer last week, and decided to blow their socks off with their own "design". They were more than pleased:
