Electrical Audit

We need a way to mark errors to be ignored in future runs of the electrical audit.

Currently we run an audit and end up with a large list of unconnected pins, wires and other errors that are not errors.

If we could go through and select errors to be ignored, then have ACADE somehow save the data, then on the next run of the electrical audit, those errors that are ignored can be removed from the list while it's being generated.

All that would be visible then would be any new errors for people to work through. Any ignored from these new errors can be added to the original list.

This would make the Electrical Audit a viable tool rather than a tool that a lot of people ignore.

Regards Brad

I completely concur and have been requesting this feature ever since the electrical audit came out. The grammer used in AE is also incorrect. The word "error" is misleading and should be replaced with "issue". An error os only ever an error when the engineer states its an error.

There is a flaw that needs to be fixed.  I reported it on a separate post but Autodesk changed the status to duplicate and sent me to this post.  The Electrical Audit reports 3-pole fuses as tag duplication.  This should not be something that we need to see and check off as normal so it will be hidden.  The software should know that this is normal.  After all, the fuses are inserted using the WD_3unit command tigger.  The 3-pole fuse, as supplied by Autodesk, inserts and assigns the same tag to all three fuses, as it should.  It adds the dashed link line, as it should.  But there should perhaps be some Xdata added by the software to the second and third blocks, which Electrical Audit can detect and thus not display 3-pole fuses as having a tag duplication error.
