Hi there,
I have a college that needs a copy of my project which is made in ACADE2013. My college is working with ACADE2012 so my question is if I can in a simple manner zip my project such that he can work with it in ACADE2012.
Any comments appreciated.
Regards, Gary

Gary,
Couple of things...
As long as you are not using the new sub-folder structure in the project it should be okay.
Make sure that you SaveAs all the DWGs as 2010 or Older. With ACE 2013 there is a new file saveas format.
That is what jumps to mind.
Hi Bob and thank´s for the tip.
So what you are saying is that I need to open all dwg´s in my project and save them as 2010 before I zip the project right?
I was kind of hoping that there was a shortcut in ACADE that takes care of this automatically
Thanks again, Regards, Gary
Just create an scr file with QSAVE in it and then run it from the project utilities for the whole project. Be sure to change your SaveAs Setting under AutoCAD Options to 2010 first.
I discovered an even easier way to do this but it requires installing DWG True View ( the latest version is available here http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/item?siteID=123112&id=9078813 )
Here is a blogpost detailing how to do this. Pretty clever!
