Wire To / From Report

Here is my scenario -
I have a hydraulic power unit which has 4 double solenoid valves.

I show an output from a PLC in the main enclosure going to each valve coil, I show a neutral wire from each valve coil coming back to the main enclosure. Each valve location is shown to be the hyd_pu

My issue is when I run the wire to/from report using the main enclosure in the 'from' and the hyd_pu in the 'to' I get the wire number for each valve coil, but only one "N" for the entire group.

I would like to show at a minimum a "N" wire to each coil show up in the from / to report. What am I missing?

I have tried to placing a unique terminal point at each coil, but still only get one "N", however sometimes when I run the report I may get two "N" which show up in the report.

I am using AE 2007. Would AE2008 correct this?

Thank you,

Todd

Are all the neutral wires the same number, in this case "N". To get 4
different neutrals to show up you may need to have different suffix's on the
neutrals (N1, N2...) or have each valve with a different location.

I tried making each valve have a different location and am only able to get 2 'N' wires to show up in the from / to report. Is the only way to have a different wire number for the 'N' on each one?

Thanks for your help?

Could you post the drawing here?

It may be a couple of things. First, are you using source/destination arrows and are they all the same for each "N" wire? Does each valve solenoid have a unique Tag? Do all "N" wires go to the same terminal in the PLC?

Sorry for the late reply - Been on a field job

Source and destination arrows are different from sht to sht.

Example - "N" source on sheet three is called n-sht3 and the destination is sht .

Each solenoid has a unique tag. SV3025, SV3026, SV3027 etc.

I show multiple terminals with the "N" designation on the drawing.

Does this help?
