Hello saravanaeswaran,

The only practical way to do this where AutoCAD won't interfere with the wire numbers when they are marked fixed, is to put something like a terminal both wires connect to before they both go to your component.

This will save you from mistakes down the road when you do a retag/update on wire numbers.

The other way is to trick autoCAD.

Leave one wire connected to the component, and give it a wire number, while the other wire floats in space.

Then name the other floating wire, and then connect it to the component.

Make sure both wires are marked as fixed!

I've had to trick AutoCAD before for as-build projects, and its worked for me.

Hope this helps,

In autocad electrical
when I ask the numbering of the wires (for example in sheet 5) in the format "% S-% N" the result is: ?? -5.
Pratically it doesn't see the number of the sheet.
I've the same problem with the references.
I've used a different type of title blocks (also original) with the same bad result.
Where do You think is my mistake?

Thanks for your help

Luigi
