Wire numbering - multiple to a single terminal

Hi,

I have connected two wires to a single custom symbol terminal. The terminal is configured to connect left, right, top and bottom. I would like the different wires to be numbered differently so I have selected the "On Per Wire Basis" in the project wiring options menu. When I wire two straight lines to the terminal the automatic wire numbering works fine. However, when I add a wire with a 90 degree turn the automatic wire numbering returns the following:

Auto wire number tagging
Select objects: 1 found
Select objects:
Retrieving project wire numbers in use . . .
Extracting networks: 1
Inserting wire numbers . . .
Error: bad argument type: lentityp nil

Any ideas why this might be happening?

Thanks, Richard

Richard,

what version of AcadE are you using? Can you post the drawing or an image of the area surrounding the terminal? What is the terminal symbol's name? I just want to see if I can reproduce what you are seeing so the more deails the better.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I've attached a PDF of the symbol. I am using D.215.0.0 AutoCAD Electrical 2010 Version 2

Thanks, Richard

Hi,

I've received some assistance and apparently some of my design has been created in the layout environment rather than the model environment.

Please hold fire on this support request for the moment please.

Thanks, Richard
