If you are using terminal blocks that force a wire number change through
them you can have a unique wire number for each wire. If you are connecting
two wires to the same connection on a component the wire numbers are
normally the same since they are part of the same network or node. If you
want to force all wires in a network to have a unique number set the wire
numbering to be on a per-wire basis in Project Properties. See attached.

I need a line/wire to read 1NA-SBXS-2A. I have another line/wire at a
shared terminal point that is named 1NA-SBXS-2. When I use the EDIT WIRE
command it changes the 1NA-SBXS-2 line/wire to "2A". I have each wire on
separate wire layers with the names I need (see attached).
