Does the 120 mean line number 120? If so, you can set up your wire number
format as NX-%N. It's more work, but when users are wire numbering to their
own standard and not industry standard you can always just manually insert
wire numbers using the wire number editor.
The wire color/gauge label is used to denote what kind of wire. This is
found under the wire leaders icon fly-out. When you insert one you will be
shown the layer name of the wire but will have the option to rename it to RD
#18 or whatever. AcadE keeps a running list of alternate wire labels,
according to what you type in the first time you label that type of wire
(wire layer). You can create the list ahead of time if you wish. Create a
text file name
.wdw inside the project folder or modify the
default.wdw inside the user folder. The default will be used if no wdw file
is found in the project folder. The syntax is as follows:
WHT_12_THHN;#12AWG WHT
RED_14_THHN;#14AWG RED
BLK_12_THHN;#12AWG BLK
YEL_14_THHN;#14AWG YEL
RED_14AWG_MTW;RED #14
RED_18AWG_MTW;RED #18
ORG_18AWG_MTW;ORG #18
JUMPERBAR;JUMPER-BAR
GRN-YEL_10AWG_MTW;GRN-YEL #10
GRN-YEL_14AWG_MTW;GRN-YEL #14
GRN-YEL_16AWG_MTW;GRN-YEL #16
BLU_18AWG_MTW;BLU #18
BLK_10AWG_MTW;BLK #10
BLK_14AWG_MTW;BLK #14
BLK_16AWG_MTW;BLK #16
Left of the ; is the layer name, right of the ; is your preferred alternate
name.

We label our wire differently than ACAD-E. Our normal configuation in a
horizonatal wire is place a name on top of the wire & the wire size on the
bottom of the wire.
Looks like this:
NX-120
-------
#10
Can someone give me a little direction on how I could do this using ACAD-E
