Wire Color Label

I'm am trying to have AutoCAD include in the automatic wire numbering system the color of the wire the number is associated with.
I have all the correct wire layers made and the wire to-from report works, but we really need to see the color on the schematic drawings themselves.
Is this possible and if so, how?
