WDDIMRL.XLS add parts and line type

Hi there,

I have added a few parts to the WDDINRL.XLS file.  I have used the END_PROP and CHANNEL_PROP to set the color and line type for my new wire way.  My problem is that I can not get the right hand end to change color or line type.  The left end and two sides work just fine.  I want the wire way trough to be a dashed line and the cover to be a solid line.  Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

My WDDIMRL.XLS file is attached.

Thank you

TRLitsey,

It looks like the issue is in the program and not your spreadsheet. I will log the issue but need to know what version of AutoCAD Electrical you are using.

If you are interested in testing a fix if one comes available, email me directly at pat.murnen@autodesk.com.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Thank you Pat, I would like to know if a fix is found for this.  I will send you my email.  The company I am currently working with uses AutoCAD Electrical 2014 Product Version 11.1.1.1.

Thanks again

Tim

Tim,

I emailed you a file as a possible fix. The file is for AutoCAD Electrical 2014.

This is supplied for testing purposes. Follow these steps to test the change.

1. Exit AutoCAD Electrical
2. Make a backup copy of your current wddinrl.fas file. The default location is C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2014\Acade.
3. Place the attached file in that same folder.
4. Restart AutoCAD Electrical.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue you are having. Also, let me know if there are any negative results.

Regards,

Pat Murnen

Hi Pat, I am very sorry I did not reply to this.  I guess I got busy and just forgot.  I am tranfering some file today and ran across it.  I do remember this did work on ACE 2014 which I am still using.  Has the bug been fix in ACE 2015 or 2016?  Thanks again.  Tim

Tim, This appears to be resolved in AutoCAD Electrical 2016.
